E&I Supervisors

We are looking for an E & I (Electrical and Instrumentation) Construction Supervisor being responsible for overseeing the construction activities related to electrical and instrumentation systems in various industrial projects. Your primary role is to ensure that all electrical and instrumentation works are executed according to project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards. Location: Maasvlakte. Your job description is as follows:

  • Project Planning: Collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop construction plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical and instrumentation activities. Ensuring that all resources, equipment, and materials are available as per project requirements.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Leading a team of electrical and instrumentation technicians and contractors on the construction site. Assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring that work is executed efficiently and safely. Coordinating with other construction disciplines to ensure smooth integration of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that electrical and instrumentation installations comply with project specifications, codes, and regulations. Addressing any non-compliance issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforcing strict adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Conducting safety meetings, toolbox talks, and ensuring that all personnel on site follow safety protocols. Identifying and mitigating potential hazards or risks related to electrical and instrumentation work.

 

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of construction activities, including daily progress reports, material inspections, and test results. Generating reports and communicating project status, challenges, and recommendations to project stakeholders.

 

  • Change Management (jointly with Construction Manager & Contracts Administartor): Assessing and managing any changes or modifications to the electrical and instrumentation scope of work. Collaborating with project managers and engineers to evaluate impacts, adjust schedules, and update project plans accordingly.

 

  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Analyzing technical issues and providing solutions to resolve electrical and instrumentation problems during construction. Coordinating with engineering teams and suppliers to address design-related issues or material deficiencies.
